ROTARACT CLUB OF KNYSNA

The Rotaract Club of Knysna received its charter certificate on Tuesday evening, 23rd February 2010

Rotaract is an international program of Rotary International for young professionals ages 18 to 30 who want to make a difference. It fosters leadership and responsible citizenship, encourages high ethical standards in business and promotes international understanding and peace.

Rotaract Clubs work under the guidance of their local Rotary Club, and take their name from a combination of the words "Rotary" and "action".

Club projects include;
• Rent a Wedding Dress
• Old Age Home outing to Bosuns for tea & cake
• The club will also be embarking on a drive to increase its club membership
• Hosts for the 2010 Rotaract District 9350 Conference
